THIS IS HILARIOUS: Jimmy Kimmel Just Roasted Trump for Appearing to Doze Off on Live TV Minutes After Calling Biden “Sleepy,” and Called Him “Nappy Don”
You really can’t make this up.
On Tuesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel opened his monologue by pointing out that Trump has been in office for almost two years and is still blaming everything he doesn’t like on Joe Biden.
Then he played the clip from Monday’s Oval Office event.
“Sleepy Joe Biden, have you heard of him?” Trump said.
Kimmel’s response was perfect.
“No, I haven’t heard of him, you’ve never mentioned him before.”
Then he rolled the second clip.
Only minutes after that “sleepy Joe” line, cameras caught Trump sitting behind the Resolute Desk with his eyes closed and his head dipping forward while executives and officials talked about a new $15 billion steel plant in Iowa.
Kimmel didn’t miss it.
“Then, only minutes after invoking the name ‘sleepy Joe Biden,’ nappy Don Trump drifted off to dreamland on live TV.”
And then he added the line everybody’s sharing.
“Even Mitch McConnell was like, ‘Bro, wake up!'”
Trump has pushed back on claims that he’s been caught sleeping in public, saying the images just capture him blinking.
But after a “sleepy Joe” dig, the timing was impossible to ignore.
Sleepy Joe is out of office.
Nappy Don is in the Oval Office.
