THIS IS INSANE: Donald Trump’s own ambassador to China just admitted, on Fox News, that Trump personally offered to sell American weapons to Xi Jinping.
Read that again.
US Ambassador to China David Perdue told Fox News Sunday that Trump “actually asked President Xi, would he like to buy some” American armaments. Not sold to an ally. Not a routine defense deal with a partner nation. Trump reportedly floated selling weapons directly to China, the country the Pentagon itself has spent years calling America’s top strategic rival.
Think about that for a second.
This is the same administration that talks constantly about the Chinese threat. The same administration that justifies tariffs, tech restrictions, and military posturing in the Pacific by pointing to Beijing as the danger.
And Trump was apparently offering to arm them.
Perdue didn’t say this on a hostile network trying to embarrass the president. He said it on Fox. He said it as if it were a selling point, proof that Trump is out there hustling deals for American industry.
But weapons sales to China aren’t just another trade line item.
They’re a national security decision with consequences that last for decades.
Nobody elected Trump to go pitch Xi Jinping on American armaments like he’s closing a real estate deal.
And now his own ambassador has confirmed it happened, out loud, on national television.
